Gateway Center Hosts Annual Human Clay Benefit

by Debi Starnes, Atlanta
The president of EMSTAR Research, Inc., Debi Starnes also sits on the board of Gateway Center, an Atlanta-based organization that strives to end homelessness in the city by providing valuable services to affected populations. Each year, volunteers and board members like Debi Starnes host a benefit called Human Clay, which aims to fund Gateway Center’s services.
Marking 10 years of Gateway Center’s efforts in Atlanta, the 2015 iteration of Human Clay will take place at 7:00 p.m. on November 17 at White Oak Kitchen and Cocktails, which also sponsors the event. Other community members and businesses that would like to contribute may do so by purchasing one of the available sponsorship packages, which range from $500 to $10,000 and include tickets to Human Clay. On the night of the event, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a silent auction for art and local prizes, listen to a live bluegrass band, take pictures in a fun photo booth, and enjoy a variety of food and drink.
