It was dedicated on April 17, 1898 and designed with a Romanesque style by Willis Franklin Denny, II. The designer also created other notable local landmarks, including Rhodes Hall and St. Mark United Methodist Church.

To connect with its members and invite others in the community to check out what it has to offer, Inman Park Church offers a variety of events. One such event, which occurred on June 26, 2016, was its splash pad and picnic family night. Sponsored by the Kid’s Ministry, attendees gathered at the splash pad, located near Garden Park and Angler Avenue, for a picnic dinner, several types of games, and water fun. Families were asked to bring towels, bathing suits, and a picnic dinner, while the church provided drinks and desserts.
